Lure Course

What is it?
It is a fun "track" for dogs. Our operator lets one dog and their owner in the course at a time. The operator remote controls the lure forwards, backwards, faster and slower while the dog chases it.
 
Why?
The dog gets their energy out, while saving yours! It is fun for the dog and fun to watch! Great for high energy dogs, bored dogs and everything in-between. 

How much?
Price: $5 per dog per run
Each dog that enters the course needs a ticket.

​How long is a run?
Each run is a maximum of 3 minutes although it may be shorter based on the energy level of your dog. 
 
Do I need to make an appointment for my dog?
No. We do not make appointments for lure course runs. After you buy your lure course ticket in the store, you may go to the lure course behind the store and begin forming a line. Runs are first come, first served based on your place in line, not ticket number.

What dogs can run?
Any! We accept any breed, age and energy level. Your dog(s) are the only one(s) in the course at the time, so we can tailor the run specifically to them. We don't allow dogs that are injured to run.

How many dogs run at a time?
Only dogs from the same household are permitted to run together otherwise dogs run alone. If you have more than one dog in your household, you may run them all together or separately. Each dog that enters must have a paid ticket even if they run together.
 
Can our club rent the lure course?
Yes, groups may rent out the course for an hourly rate on weekdays or weekends (not available for group rental during our Saturday store hours.) Please contact us to rent/schedule.

Is the Lure Course fenced in?
Yes, our lure course is located within a permanent 4ft high fence. There is shade cloth along the fence to help cut down on distractions. It is located outdoors behind our store.

What else is there to do?
Our lure course is located on our 70 acre tree farm. Enjoy a peaceful, country walk on our maintained grass paths throughout the property. Dogs must be on a physical leash at all times outside of the lure course.
